What you'll be doing

We’re looking for a Java Backend Developer with 2+ years experience to build and scale high-performance services that power modern, distributed applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain backend services using Java (preferred) or other relevant languages.
Work with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB to store and retrieve data efficiently.
Implement caching strategies using Redis for performance optimization.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs for integration with frontend applications and third-party services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable microservices.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure smooth operation.
Work with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and deployment tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines).

What we're looking for

2+ years of experience in backend development.
Strong programming skills in Java or other backend technologies.
Solid understanding of relational databases (MySQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
Experience with caching mechanisms like Redis.
Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
Familiarity with cloud platforms and containerisation technologies.
Basic knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD, and API security principles.

What would be great to have

Previous experience in a fintech or payment orchestration company.
