As a fast-scaling global iGaming operator expanded across multiple regulated markets, its payment ecosystem became increasingly complex. Rising transaction volumes, regional payment preferences, and regulatory requirements meant supporting a growing number of PSPs across different geographies.
While the operator relied on an established primary gateway for end-to-end processing, two key challenges emerged. First, increasing pressure to reduce payment processing costs, as different PSPs offered varying approval rates and commercial terms. Solution
Paysecure was introduced as a smart routing orchestration layer alongside the operator’s existing gateway, enabling greater control and flexibility across its payment stack.
Through Paysecure’s smart routing capabilities, the operator configured dynamic routing rules based on multiple real-time variables, including transaction geography, PSP performance, processing costs, and payment method availability. This allowed each transaction to be routed to the most appropriate provider based on both performance and commercial logic.
In parallel, Paysecure simplified the integration and management of multiple PSPs, enabling the operator to expand provider coverage across key markets without adding operational complexity. This approach allowed the operator to retain its core platform while introducing a more agile, configurable orchestration layer where existing capabilities were limited.
